Project One-Post Four: File Management

Post Four:File and asset management

Task one: You will need to explain how asset management and file management are applied in the development of digital media outcomes(3-d animation).

Assets are things that can be managed within an application. For example in Blender, the assets are the camera, lamp, cube, etc. They can be easily managed in the outline editor as shown below.


During my development of my first character in Blender, managing my assets in the outline editor has helped make my development easier and more clear.

The eye icon next to each element gives me the ability to make that element visible or not. This has helped make whatever i want to focus on the center piece without having any distractions or accidents being made to other assets. Managing assets should be more suited you're own style and liking.
